Jennifer Robinson currently serves as a Program Support Specialist with the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (RESTORE Council) via a contract with Veterans Management Services, Inc. (VMSI). Created by the RESTORE Act of 2012 and comprised of the Governors of the five Gulf Coast States and Cabinet-level officials from six federal agencies, the RESTORE Council is responsible for restoring and protecting the natural resources, ecosystems, fisheries, marine and wildlife habitats, beaches, coastal wetlands, and economy of the Gulf Coast. Robinson began working with Council staff in 2017 and currently administers the RAAMS Help Desk.

Prior to her work with the Council, Robinson worked for AM/NS Calvert as an Environmental Engineer, where she managed the mill’s water programs. She was an Exemplar Global Certified ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Lead Auditor for AM/NS Calvert. Her prior experience also includes managing Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) grants for the Mobile County Commission and 10 years of service to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Coastal Programs as a Senior Environmental Scientist. Her responsibilities there included managing 401(a) Water Quality and CZMA Coastal Consistency projects. During the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response, Robinson was a member of the SCAT teams that operated in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

Robinson was raised in southern Alabama and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Biology.
