Jeremy Roseboom serves as the Chief Information Officer for the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (Council). Created by the RESTORE Act of 2012 and comprised of the Governors of the five Gulf Coast States and Cabinet-level officials from six federal agencies, the RESTORE Council is responsible for restoring and protecting the natural resources, ecosystems, fisheries, marine and wildlife habitats, beaches, coastal wetlands, and economy of the Gulf Coast.

Prior to this position, Roseboom worked as an electrical engineer in varying capacities within the Department of Defense. His specialty was designing secure and robust IT networks. His experience includes designing and implementing small office IT projects to large data center IT projects.

Roseboom holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering. In addition he holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
