Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council Announces Votes on Two Significant Actions

On March 4, the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council voted on two Significant Actions: 
 
(1) Amendment: Gulf Coast Conservation Corps (GCCC) Program March 4, 2020
The Council voted to amend its 2015 Initial Funded Priorities List (2015 FPL) to approve a cost and time extension for the Gulf Coast Conservation Corps Program (GCCC), which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (DOC/NOAA) and the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (DOI/BIA). Specifically, the Council approved an additional $2M to continue this program for approximately 16 months longer than was originally approved in the Initial FPL. DOC/NOAA will be provided an additional $1.7M and DOI/BIA will be provided an additional $300K.
