On September 14, 2022, the RESTORE Council voted to approve both the 2022 Comprehensive Plan Update: Restoring the Gulf Coast’s Ecosystem and Economy (2022 Comprehensive Plan Update) and the FPL 3b Texas Land Acquisition Program Amendment.
2022 Comprehensive Plan Update
The 2022 Comprehensive Plan Update is the second update to the 2013 Initial Comprehensive Plan. In this update, the Council continues to build upon its commitments to ensure that the Gulf’s natural resources are sustainable and available for future generations. The translated version of the approved 2022 Comprehensive Plan Update and associated documents will be posted when they are available.
FPL 3b Texas Land Acquisition Program
The approval of this amendment will expand the geographic boundary of the Texas Land Acquisition Program for Coastal Conservation in Texas. The amendment did not include approval of additional funding for the land acquisition.
